Over the winter, Alanna was a teacher for Bluesfest’s community initiative program Be in the Band. BitB offers a creative space for young musicians to come together and form a band and learn how to rock! Alanna helped these teenage bands work as a team to write their own original songs, jam out covers, come up with a band name, and perform on stage!

Each year, Bluesfest showcases these youth bands from all across Ontario on the final day of the festival. Alanna will be performing with two of their bands - JM2 and Untitled Academy.

Unfortunately, Alanna has not applied for Bluesfest this year and will not be performing their own originals. However, rumour has it Alanna will be on the main stage in Bluesfest 2024 so keep your eyes and ears peeled.
