Join us for an immersive evening as award-winning Ottawa artist Alanna Sterling performs three 45-minute sets in a dynamic outdoor activation hosted by Music.Art.Ppl as part of the Uncommon Spaces Activation series.
Uncommon is a vibrant public event space located at Snider Plaza between Bank and Laurier in Ottawa’s Centretown. It’s designed to bring the urban core to life with installations, live music, and street activations.
Supported by the City of Ottawa and Centretown BIA, the activation transforms Florence Street into a pedestrian-friendly hub for art, music, and culture through mid‑October.

About the Artist
Alanna Sterling is an award-winning, non-binary musician from Ottawa known for their bold blend of soul, jazz, rock, and synth-pop. Often compared to legends like Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Lady Gaga, Alanna brings unmatched vocal power and raw emotional expression.
In 2024, Alanna released their third studio album and performed daily at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics as part of the Seine Music Festival. Their latest EP, Everything’s Gonna Be Just Fine, is now available on vinyl.
